Workout Clothes
This post was requested by a lot of you and I’m so excited to share! I don’t usually share my workout outfits on my Instagram or website, but had such a great response when I shared some new leggings I got last week. I wanted to do a post on all my favorite workout tops and bottoms in case any of you are looking to update your workout wardrobe with some quality pieces but dont want to spend hundreds of dollars.
All of these items listed are ones that I have and wear frequently. I love wearing cropped tank tops with high waisted leggings to the gym because there is nothing I hate more than having excess fabric on me while I’m trying to work out. It really helps me track my progress at the gym better when I can see the lines and definition on my body. I also get way more excited to workout when I have an outfit that I feel good in!
TANKS
In my opinion, tanks are the one workout item I refuse to splurge on! I just don’t see the value in a $50 tank top that does the exact same thing as a $10 one. I sometimes will even get a top that isn’t necessarily labeled for “workout” because it doesn’t make much of a difference to me, as long as I like the fabric and cut. All of these tanks are super great prices and have lasted me through lots of workouts and washes and still hold up great!
LEGGINGS
If you are going to splurge anywhere, definitely make it on leggings.
1, 2, & 5 are all pairs that are at a higher price point, but are amazing quality. I have all three of these and have worn them for years without hardly any signs of being worn out.
I can’t speak on the overall quality of the other pairs yet because I have only had them for a couple weeks but so far I have been super impressed with the quality for the price point and would definitely recommend trying them out!
** I’ve had some questions about my workout routine so I wanted to share that on here as well! About a year ago I started going to Orange Theory Fitness with a friend and became hooked. I still go every Saturday!
The other 4-5 days a week I go to an Anytime Fitness gym where I basically shorten the workouts they do at orange theory (15-20 mins HIIT workout on the treadmill or stair stepper, 20 mins of weight training)
I have a heart rate monitor that I use with the Orange Theory app on my phone so I can track my calories and splat points still! If I need new weight lifting ideas I go to Instagram for inspiration! My friend Brooke has a lot of great workouts that I have loved!
I also started intermittent fasting about 6 months ago and I incorporate that about 3-4 days a week just when I feel like my body needs a reset!**
