Fall Style Guide (2021)
ITS FINALLY HERE! Can you guys believe that this is my FOURTH fall putting out a style guide? I was reading in my journal the other day and I had written about when I first started making these and it honestly made me emotional just to see how far they have come and how many people have benefitted from these guides. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU for following along, and for being just as excited about it as I am.
I first came up with the idea for a style guide when I was working as an intern for Nordstrom. I was helping women in the dressing room of the designer apparel department and the common theme I kept hearing from these women was that they needed to know what basics to buy! So I started a little collection of designer sweaters, t-shirts, turtlenecks, etc. that I would add into every dressing room and I was shocked at how many women ended up buying those items instead of the bold statement pieces they thought they wanted to buy!
I started making a list in my notes on my phone of all the essential items every woman should have in her closet. I spent a few months tweaking it and spending some time in my own wardrobe to see just what I wore and reached for the most and although some styles/fits have changed over the last few years, a lot of these items are the same. My style guide is meant to be timeless and to help you have items in your closet that you reach for months and years into the future.
In the upcoming months, I will be referencing this guide a ton as I post outfit inspiration, create tik toks/reels, and share mood boards on my stories! So make sure you are following me on those platforms so you can get all the ideas on how to wear each of these pieces!
Letβs get started!
I will do a roundup of each item individually and share options at different price points, but for now I am just going to link the items (or similar if sold out) that are pictured here!
